The true story of Operation Market Garden, the Allies attempt, in September 1944, to hasten the end
of WW2 by driving through Belgium and Holland into Germany. The idea was for US airborne divisions to
take the towns of Eindhoven and Nijmegen and a British airborne division, reinforced by a Polish
airborne brigade, to take the town of Arnhem. They would be reinforced, in due course and in turn, by
the British XXX Corps, land-based and driving up from the British lines in the south. The key to the
operation was the bridges, as if the Germans held or blew them, the paratroopers could not be relieved.
Faulty intelligence, Allied high command hubris and stubborn German resistance would ensure that Arnhem
                    was a bridge too far.

of the Alamo (February 23-March 6, 1836) where 183 Texans (American-born Texans) and Tejanos

Conquering 90% of the known world by the age of 25, Alexander the Great led his armies through
22,000 miles of sieges and conquests in just eight years. Coming out of tiny Macedonia (today part of
Greece), Alexander led his armies against the mighty Persian Empire, drove west to Egypt, and finally
made his way east to India. This film will concentrate on those eight years of battles, as well as his
relationship with his boyhood friend and battle mate, Hephaestion. Alexander died young, of illness, at
                    33. Alexander's conquests paved the way for the spread of Greek culture (facilitating the spread of
Christianity centuries later), and removed many of the obstacles that might have prevented the
expansion of the Roman Empire. In other words, the world we know today might never have been if not for
                    Alexander's bloody, yet unifying, conquest.

remote Greek island, an Italian artillery garrison is established to maintain order. One Italian
officer, Captain Corelli, adopts an attitude of mutual co-existence with the Greeks and engages in such
activities as music festivals and courting the daughter of a local doctor. In 1943, however, after

seemed to be in the minor leagues, except for the fact that he is a member of two major foreign policy

Joanne Herring, Wilson learns about the plight the people are suffering in the brutal Soviet occupation
of Afghanistan. With the help of the maverick CIA agent, Gustav "Gust" Avrakotos, Wilson dedicates his

is Commander Hunter, who hasn't seen much action. But the ship's Captain, Ramsey OK's him. While on the
way, there was an incident and Hunter disagreed with how Ramsey handled it, it's evident that Ramsey
doesn't think much of Hunter because Hunter was college educated while Ramsey worked his way up.
They're given orders to attack but when they were in the process of receiving another order, the ship's
communications were damaged, so the entire message was not received. Ramsey decides to continue with
their previous order while Hunter wants to reestablish contact first. That's when the two men butt

Hunter is not up to the task so they team up to retake control. But Hunter has taken precautions.

though-provoking insights on the American security system, the level of paranoia, fear, uncertainty,
false values and patriotism, which all combined together to set a stage for George W. Bush to launch a

September 11, 2001. This documentary also focuses on how some Saudis were safely and secretly flown out
of America while planes were ostensibly grounded after the attacks. Archived film footage, candid
interviews with politicians, and an overall waste of public funds for a war that was initiated on false
pretension to wit: a weapon of mass distraction - to take the focus away from the real enemy and get
Americans glued to their TV sets to watch innocent Iraqis and Afghans getting killed. And a war that
would eventually alienate the U.S.A. and it's citizens from almost every country on Earth.

Following the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller and his men are
charged with finding the so-called weapons of mass destruction, whose existence justified American
involvement, according to the Pentagon and their man in Baghdad, Poundstone. Veteran CIA operative
Marty tells Miller that there are no weapons, it is a deception to allow the Americans to take over the
country and install a puppet leader. Also suspicious of Poundstone is Wall Street Journal reporter
Lawrie Dayne, who lets slip to Miller that Poundstone told her he had secret talks in Jordan with an
important Iraqi, code-named Magellan, who told him about the weapons, though it now seems likely
Magellan's true information was to the contrary. So begins a hunt for the truth. Who's playing whom?

to strike back at the enemy. A murder in the camp gives him the chance to set a risky plan in motion.

Joan of Arc is born in 1412 in the village of Domremy in the war zone of Northern France. During
her youth she often witnesses the horrors of war, but her spirit is kept high by the legend of the
Maiden of Lorraine. This says that a young maiden one day will unite the divided country and lead the
people to freedom. 11 years old she starts hearing voices from Saint Catherine and Archangel Michael.
Through them she is commissioned by God to go to Prince Charles in Chinon, to convince him to become
the King of France and drive the English occupants away. Charles thinks that Joan could be the catalyst
that animates his disheartened troops. He commissions her to lead the army together with captain La
Hire. After their victory at Orleans Joan participates in the coronation of Charles in Reims. Bishop
Cauchon accuses her of heresy, and is relocated to Northern France, where he associates with the
English occupants. Joan breaks Charles treaty with Burgundy by attacking Paris. Her troops are
defeated, and Charles betrays her by letting the Burgundians capture her. They hand her over to their
English allies, who put her on a trial led by bishop Cauchon. The court sentences her to be burned at
                    the stake as a heretic.

It is the time of the Crusades during the Middle Ages - the world shaping 200-year collision
between Europe and the East. A blacksmith named Balian has lost his family and nearly his faith. The
religious wars raging in the far-off Holy Land seem remote to him, yet he is pulled into that immense
drama. Amid the pageantry and intrigues of medieval Jerusalem he falls in love, grows into a leader,
and ultimately uses all his courage and skill to defend the city against staggering odds. Destiny comes
seeking Balian in the form of a great knight, Godfrey of Ibelin, a Crusader briefly home to France from
fighting in the East. Revealing himself as Balian's father, Godfrey shows him the true meaning of
knighthood and takes him on a journey across continents to the fabled Holy City. In Jerusalem at that
moment--between the Second and Third Crusades--a fragile peace prevails, through the efforts of its
enlightened Christian king, Baldwin IV, aided by his advisor Tiberias, and the military restraint of

In Jerusalem at that
moment--between the Second and Third Crusades--a fragile peace prevails, through the efforts of its
enlightened Christian king, Baldwin IV, aided by his advisor Tiberias, and the military restraint of
the legendary Muslim leader Saladin Ayubi . But Baldwin's days are numbered, and strains of fanaticism,

and his inner demons that sway between his drive for success and the immorality of what he does.

of Captain Jack Aubrey. Aubrey and the Surprise's current orders are to track and capture or destroy a

toward the Pacific in order to extend Napoleon's reach of the wars. This task will be a difficult one
as Aubrey quickly learns in an initial battle with the Acheron that it is a bigger and faster ship than
the Surprise, which puts the Surprise at a disadvantage. Aubrey's single-mindedness in this seemingly

Navy locate and sink Nazi U-Boats, forcing the Germans to create a new weapon to deal with the Allies
secret weapon. When years later the Navy finds intelligent activity among dolphins, they may also know
                    who is teaching them.

Circa 460 A.D. Mira was born in a warrior-family in Kerala, India, was well versed in martial arts
and self-defense, so much so that she was recruited by the Spanish royalty and re-located to
Constantinople. From there she was instructed to assist Roman Commander Aurelius to plan the escape of
12-year old Romulus Augustus Caesar from a prison in Capri after his parents had been killed by the
leader of the Alliance in turmoil-stricken Rome that has seen the deaths of five emperors in five
years. Mira, Aurelius, and a Priest, Ambrosinius, along with a handful of loyal soldiers were
successful in the escape plan and deliver Romulus to Roman Senator Nestor. What the crew do not realize
is that their task is not over yet, for Nestor is all set to betray Romulus, leaving them with no
alternative but to flee to Britannia, where they will be forced to confront a seemingly invincible
Vortygn, whose main aim is to obtain a powerful sword that was meant for defense and defeat, and also
ensure the death of Romulus at any and all costs.

In the 1870s, Captain Nathan Algren, a cynical veteran of the American Civil war who will work for
anyone, is hired by Americans who want lucrative contracts with the Emperor of Japan to train the
peasant conscripts for the first standing imperial army in modern warfare using firearms. The imperial
Omura cabinet's first priority is to repress a rebellion of traditionalist Samurai -hereditary
warriors- who remain devoted to the sacred dynasty but reject the Westernizing policy and even refuse

participates as advisor in Katsumoto's failed attempt to save the Bushido tradition, but Omura gets
repressive laws enacted- he must now choose to honor his loyalty to one of the embittered sides when
the conflict returns to the battlefield...

Based on the true story of the greatest treasure hunt in history, The Monuments Men is an action
drama focusing on an unlikely World War II platoon, tasked by FDR with going into Germany to rescue
artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and returning them to their rightful owners. It would be an
impossible mission: with the art trapped behind enemy lines, and with the German army under orders to
destroy everything as the Reich fell, how could these guys - seven museum directors, curators, and art
historians, all more familiar with Michelangelo than the M-1 - possibly hope to succeed? But as the
Monuments Men, as they were called, found themselves in a race against time to avoid the destruction of
1000 years of culture, they would risk their lives to protect and defend mankind's greatest
                    achievements.
